They are actually the '03 Mach 1 Magnum 500 rims.....Ford racing parts said they would fit fine and I saw them on another wheel site on an '05 so I know they'll work....can't wait to see them on the car....should be sweet!

i didn't think they looked that good on the 04 body, but they look sweet on the chop car....thinking about doing the same...i've got access to 2 free ones if they are the exact same as the 04's
thanks
-i'll let you be the guinea pig....I heard that the bolt pattern was different by about 3 mm....who knows?

Are you sure they said they were for an '05 Mustang? Looking at the specs, it looks like the offset and backspacing are way short for an '05. I'll bet they are meant to fit an '04.

The Boss Hog . . . . . just my opinion

John, You'll need to post some pics when you get them installed. I would have to agree with you, 19's will look great on our cars especially with about a 1 inch drop. Just about all the aftermarket and designers are putting 19's and 20's on thier 05 mustangs and I think these people know what they are doing. B)

yeah, I'll have to agree w/ boss hog, I haven't heard of any older model wheels fitting the 05's or else they would already be riding around w/ them around town, or pics on the internet.....doesn't sound like they are going to fit unless they are designed specifically for the 05's and are meant to look like the older wheels.....I guess it could happen
I took some Cobra R's that I have, and tried to put on my 05 and the lug pattern is off, the new 05 lug pattern is wider than the older cars....just an FYI

The GT5's from AR are brand new, not even released yet to the public. They insist it is the correct backspacing but I will see that when I get them. I am having them fitted first. That way if I don't like them I don't buy them

Hmm those rims look like they stick out pretty far. Is there a way to take a pic of looking from the back to front to see how far they stick out? With the offset the catalog read, I don't see how they wouldn't stick out

They do not stick out of the wheelwell, but they are within about 1/8" of fender lip on the outside. If I had it to do over again, I would move them inboard about 1/4".

LOL Mark! That's just what I was hoping to make out of it....Started out looking like regular rock, but it polished up into Corvette Kryptonite!

I went to the dealer today for a computer check-up and they had a black V-6 with 18" Crager's and Toyo 255's all the way around! It looked perfect! My dealer is going to give me a sweet deal for all the customers I've sent thier way. I'm thinking about geting the BF-Goodrich G-Force T/A's with the white letters out.

I believe they are BF Goodrich g-Force T/A KDW (with the "new" tread)
