Saw these on eBay... I haven't seen any previous post on these yet so I figured I would start a new topic to generate comments/opinions on this aftermarket option... Kinda old school with a modern flare... I don't really like them :notnice: , but may look good on cars with the rear blackout panel.... If anyone actually has these, please post pics so others can see how they look on a stang....

Someone please tell me WHY some aftermarket yo-yos feel we want to put UGLYrice-burner crap on our Mustangs? Are all the companies run by tuner lovers? I gotta give these a big

 

Please don't do that to your Mustang!! Evey time I see a Mustang with the "bling style" taillights I cringe......I mean the "Tri-bar" tailights are one of the primary styling cues that date back to the original Mustang - very few other cars have that kind of heritage (Corvette, T-Bird)......may as well take the running horse emblems off and replace them with "Type R" stickers....

 

Those particular tail lights are not my cup of tea, cup of coffee, or cup of pretty much anything else. Personally I find them quite vulgar.

 

I respect my car too much to put those on. Just my opinion.

 

If someone were to come out with a quality LED kit that maintained the original taillight look I would investigate it, but this?

Those are so ugly, they don't even qualify as type R.

 

Because that's what the companies releasing stuff like this are used to designing, and THINK that's what the public wants. The S197 is a "hot car" and every company that makes ANYTHING related to autos is going to try and cash in.

They'll get the picture when they're sitting on a warehouse full of those eye gougers :notnice:
