It would be identical if you replaced the 2 fender emblems and put on the old badges(I have the same ones on mine). Got a little too much going on there on the fender IMHO. Everything else looks great, excellent job.

Actually, I have in the works custom 281 w/chevron that looks like the old 289 w/chevron fender badge. I will remove the larger 281 and just have the 281 chevron on the front like they did in 65/66.

The flush mount louvers from Silver Horse Racing are being painted. And once I save up the $ for the Agent 47 side mirrors, those will be replaced as well as the rear medallion replaced with the SHR with the 68 GT logo on it. After all of that, the external mods will be complete... next.. peformance!

Well, as my screen name may imply, the photos were taken by me! :-) It helps having an overcast day to shoot cars in. Keeps from having big areas that are overexposed.

Thanks for all the comments,

I wonder how the redlines would look on a G.O. GT

They do however look most excellent on your black Stang.

First pic I've seen of them on our cars and they are - as I imagined they'd be - stunning!!! Nice job.

The tires grip real well. Actually I'm having to get use to the weight transfer of the car, as with the better grip, it's different then the stock tires. I may have to look at beefing up my suspension now in order to keep things better under control.

Those redlitne tires are sweet! I'm bummed that they are available in 18" only. I dropped an email to Nitto Customer service and it seems there are no plans to make a 17" that will fit the OE bullets. Bummer , I like my 17" Bullets....

Here is a 281 V8 chevron (page 24 if the link doesn't go directly to it)

I did a 68 inspired "C" stripe with chrome stick on M U S T A N G letters, like the earlier 65-67 GTs

I saw an ad for those tires in MM&FF and didn't think I'd like them. However, they look AMAZING on your car. Great combination!

I hope if these stay on the market they make them only in Mustang-friendly sizes

I'm in McKinney. Where abouts are you? I'm going to try and make the Sanderson's Pilot Point show on the 29th! See you there?
