Red face

All I need and will do in the future are Mach 1 wheels when the tires are bald. Installed the CDC shaker a few months back and had the hood painted and installed the Silverhorse rear panel today. Let me know what you think. Thanks Scott.

Awesome! I am jealous. The Mach/shaker look was high on my list, but I went another route. The Mach wheels will look . Love the back panel, too. Now cut the top coil off of your rear springs and it will be perfect.

Fantastic! Funny, every time I see a redfire GT, I always think Mach

Maybe some chrome taillight surrounds... Although the AVS black ones look dam good too, although it goes more towards a boss look. And I wonder if you can get modern sport tires like KDW's with white letters?

I agree, looks awesome, especially the shaker hood and the proper paint. What you need though is a set of "real" magnums like the ones I just took off mine.

You selling yours? Why did you take them off?

Looks great! I think if you added a MACH 1 style decal (or paint) on the rear trunk area like that shown on the blue Mustang above, it would really finish off the look!

Looks great, Scott. Your car is one of the stangs I have been following. I really like the honeycomb rear panel too. The only thing I'd do... besides the wheels of course... is to maybe get some rear window louvers like many of the '70 Mach's had. I think that would finish off the rear real nice.

I like how you didn't put "Mach 1" anywhere on the car too. That makes it a true tribute and not a take-off. Very nicely done.

Thanks. Rear window louvers just don't look good on these cars in my opinion. I think it would over do it and I don't want too much stuff on the car to take away from the look I have now.

As far as putting Mach 1 decals on it your right it is a tribute to the old Mach 1's and it will never be a true Mach. That to me is like putting GT badges on a V6 which is a whole other post. :bang:

Nice, my shaker just shipped yesterday. I CAN"T WAIT!

Where did you get your stripes, and is there a measurements for them.

Acadian posted a picture of one of my dream cars and the one that my Mustang is being made as a tribute to. I'm vacilating on painting the spoiler black as it may be too much black on my car. Also my car has lemans stripes rather than the big wide Mach-1 stripe with chaser stripes..

Scott - your car looks awesome man!
