Oh definitely aftermarket, but looks like good quality (even from the smallish image) But what about the rear seat head room?!?

Does it retract inside the roof, or does it stay visible inside the car? If it is a true moonroof that stays inside the roof of the car, sign me up- I'll order it now to prevent any wait.

The thought of cutrting into the roof is just a little too much for me right now. Maybe in the future.

I dont think ford will have this as an option. The dealers work with aftermarket companies to get them. The one I was going to get installed is a company named webasto. They have been around all over, and they do have the moonroof etc. Different sunroofs available I believe. I am not at home right now, but I believe you can go to webasto.com then click on sunroofs, location etc, and eventually you can find a dealer near you that can install them. You can add them at anytime, and they look as good as factory too me. Got mine put in my last gran prix I had. Good luck

Is it just me or does the sunroof look out of place on the mustang? My previous two cars had sunroofs and I loved it... but when I bought the stang I accepted the fact that this is not a sunroof kinda car. Am I crazy?

Maybe if the glass was wider? Those little ones look more like an escape hatch than a sunroof.

IMO the sunroof takes awy from the cars appearance, I would never opt to have this installed on an 05 period..

I had a moonroof on my BMW and loved it. I would gladly spend the moeny for one.

However, the BMW unit slid back into the roof, so you would never see it like a spoiler on the roof.
