New Mods pics
My 05 GT
Here's a couple of pics of mine with Shaker and Louvers Installed. We are going down the same path. I've got to change computers and I'll post some additional of the rear louvers and stripes I have on.
Nice job.........

Yes, we did move the sensors. We had Discount Tire do the work, they installed new bands, mounted, and balanced for a total of about $100. They initially had trouble getting the tire pressure warning to go out but once we drove about a mile down the road it finally did reset.
Yes, we went with 18" primarily in order to reuse the current tires. I personally am not a fan of tires larger than 18" anyway. Generally, the bigger rims and tires weigh more and they end up with such a short sidewall it can really detract from the ride quality.
Ahh! Another one! I was beginning to think we were the only ones to put a shaker on a CS. Looks good from what I can see, can't wait to see more and larger pictures.
That's funny, I had a 1979 Mercury Capri RS also. Bought it from my father in law, and it had rear louvers too. They faded, and peeled black paint over time, plus rattled at highway speeds. These new Roush louvers have come a long way since the old styles. I am very pleased. But, they might not be for you. Just my opinion, as it should be.
Happy New Year to all Mustang Lovers!!

I also had a 1979 Mercury Capri RS turbo
Silver with louvers I put on..... Had no problems.......Until I rolled it
Ours was a 1982 with the 5.0. It only had the 2 barrel carburetor but I did add headers and dual exhaust so it sounded good and ran good for the day. Nothing like the new ones though, not even close. I think it was rated at about 160 hp from the factory, the exhaust work made a noticeable difference but I'd still be surprised if it was more than 180.
