Finally got my CDC classic and Cervinis 1/4 window scoops back from the paint shop today, and it turned out to be a nice day for pictures. Overall, I'm pretty happy. The last month has brought the CDC shaker, classic, scoops, spinners, and MGW stuff as well as the audio system. Next up is getting the 4.10s installed. What do ya think?

nice tom,
did you get the 4.10's installed yet?

Nope, haven't gotten the 4.10s in yet. I ended up spending $600 for 4 new tires for my '92 convertible, so my piggy bank is running close to empty. Should get them in before May though.

I like it! Similar to the look I am going for. I need Bullits!!!
Any stripes in the future?
How do the side scoops affect the view from the inside - any blind spot issues?
[/b][/quote]
Thanks! Yep, I'm glad I kept my bullets. However, I want to throw some fatter tires on those rims......
Stripes- I'm STILL debating on color. I've been unable to makeup my mind since I bought the car last September. White looks awesome, but maybe too popular in my opinion?? I was thinking of black and painting the bullets to match, however now I'm leaning towards silver metallic (again). Have you seen the magazine ads for the new Shelby V6? The car is blue with silver striping and it looks really good......and silver metallic matches the stock bullet rims pretty well as they are.
As far as visibility, I haven't noticed any change, but I never really looked "through" the 1/4 windows anyway. However, when I take the kids for a ride in the car, they're bummed cause they can't see out except for thru the grill screens, and that ain't much!
Thanks,
Tom

youre car looks great!
Is it just me or are you sonic/vista blue owners more likely to get a shaker?
I don't mean that in a bad way at all, I really like the shaker.

Good question.........I don't know, but you're right there are several blue cars here that have shakers now.

I like the Cervinis scoops, but in your last pic it seems the one on the driver's side does not sit perfectly flush with the body (top corner). Is it a fabrication defect or is the double-sided tape too thick?

You're right about the scoops not sitting flush with the body. It's how they're manufactured they don't sit perfectly flat against the car, and then when you add the supplied 3M tape, it accentuates the difference even more. I wasn't thrilled with that, and I'm wondering in the back of my mind if I'm gonna like them, long term. The best thing to do with these would be to have them molded-in, but then again that's probably the best thing to do with any scoops like these.
If anyone wants close up pics of the scoops, PM me and I'll get some pictures posted or emailed to you.
The CDC chin spoiler fits like a glove though!! Highly, highly recommend it!!
Thanks,
Tom
