Cant you paint the CDC shaker the color of your car?

 

 

You can if you want, in fact Brad had the lower portion painted to match Project TMS, but the top of the CDC is cast aluminum I think, just like the originals, and part of the charm is the texture and flat black of it.

I was thinking it kinda looks like the late 70's and early 80's Trans AM shaker hood... it looked good on those but it looks terrible on a mustang.
