Hey guys thought I'd throw this post up here and show you the unique alternative to the faux gas cap! I know that most of us have had issues with the quality on these faux gas caps on our deck lids. Mine was not in horrible condition yet, but the black background had faded and it started to look shabby. I put one of those stickers from etsy over it but it looked shabby. I found on this forum, and became friends with the man who makes an awesome alternative made out of the same faux gas cap that is on our cars! Kevin is one of our moderators on this forum as well and has a real passion for the s197. If you are like me and looking for a quality replacement for your faux gas cap hit him up!
