Bill, I agree... you are very talented. You just about convinced me to keep my stock grille and have you paint a pony for me. Any ideas though on something to go with my car? I have the whole Shelby look going, and not sure that flames would look right.

Well, I like the flames but on your car, maybe something very subtle, like black base w/ a light grey ghost flame pattern would look killer or maybe even the flames shot in clear w/ pearl in it so the light would make them come alive but in low light they would be almost invisible. I'll kick some more things around in my head

Sounds like an idea. Now, I've seen your 'skeleton' ponies... what about doing something like that, but a along the lines of a cobra snake? Maybe painting the horses head to look more like a snake, with fangs. And maybe some lines along the belly area and diamonds to simulate the scales of a snake's skin. I don't want a cobra emblem on my car anywhere, since it's not a true Shelby, but something subtle like that could work. Maybe sketch something out and see what it looks like.

Edit: Here's a pic for reference...

would that look good on a pony......the read badge would look killer with that on it but thats a lot of detail in that underside area.....I could do it really easy but it would take a good bit of time and time cost money.....I'll work up a quote on it over the weekend

I just joined. And I appreciate it. I'll post some pics there once I get my 3DCarbon scoops on and figure out what I'm doing with the grille. My exterior mods should finally be finished in a couple weeks... except for the 18" bullitts of course.

Bill, refresh my memory. What will it take for me to get one of those black plenum covers with realistic flames?

well , since midwest decided to change their mind on what they quoted me for raw covers ( and now they wont even sell them in primer like a few people on these threads called and requested and were quoted a price for primer ones by midwest) right now I'm doing repaints only. Hopefully over the next few weeks I'll be able to put some things together for everyone. Repaints without base color change are running about 170.00. I'll keep everyone informed on "other"options as I know more.

thanks guys,
Bill C.

Bill,
Those ponys look bad as heck! Great job, and there is a good mixture of options for customers. Now if only you could do something to make that darn chrome donut on the back of the car look good.
Keep up the good work , can't wait to see the american flag one!

I'd like to see a chome pony w/ realistic flames and / or a white pony w/ realistic flames.
A white pony w/ red flames may look good on my car.

I "AM" interested in doing something, but not sure what I would like the best.

Your talent is incredible!

Thanks , really appreciate the compliments!!!! the white base w/ red flames would look better on your car IMO because of the stripes obviously.....

like this one ( just finished this one the night before last...the reds are more pronounced without the cardboard background...its available if you like it)
