New For 2011 FRPP 3V Cam Covers

My wife bought these for me as a Christmas gift. She got them from Buyfordracing. I don't know the price.
They are in the 2011 catalog in either blue or black with the laser-etched logo.
IMHO it's nice to see something new for the 3V.

Those are awesome!!!

Its about time they scribed Ford Racing on them!!

Although I'd love Ford blue, they don't seem to compliment the DHG engine compartment. So I'd prolly go the black so it matches the intake - if I can ever get the extra funds.

Thanks guys, I agree black would be cool on a Bullitt. My car is alloy and IMHO it goes well with either.

Nice! Do valve covers count as an exterior mod? There on the outside of the engine but still inside the car...

Does anyone have a link for these? I can't seem to find them on the FRPP site or in their 2011 online catalog.

Thanks

Thanks for all the nice comments !

The new cam covers are on page 235 in the 2011 FRPP catalog. There is no picture in the catalog. They come in either blue or black. I don't think they are on the frpp website yet.

I really appreciate my wife getting these. I like the way the blue pops in the engine bay. Having an alloy colored car I think either color would work. I am sure black would be very sharp also with the silver lettering.

I wouldn't feel bad if I bought a set without the lettering. IMHO not much of the cam cover besides the front is visible in our cars anyway.

BTW: they also have a new for 2011 matching black or blue oil fill cover, it's on page 239 of the 2011 catalog. I was lucky that "Santa" left one of those also.

Ford has been kind of silly. I might have paid more for factory engine dress up - and to the other extreme, painted axles and a spare. They could have added that as an option and made that profit.
Unless the profit is so much more extreme for their aftermarket products.

I just went to the FRPP catalog, and found the Blue oil fill cap part #M-6766-BLCC but it does not have the Ford Racing laser etched on it.Is that the one you have ? or is yours etched ? Thanks

The oil fill cap matches the color and texture of the cam covers but it has a plain top, no logo. There is a cap for another model year on the same page that does have the logo laser etched on it. I think it looks good. Don't know why they didn't do the one for the 3V to match the cam covers. Maybe too many FRPP logo's ? too close together ?

They are going on in the spring. I can hardly venture out in this weather (Mi), need to move somewhere warm with no pot holes.
