Need your Opinion - My Ford GT BBS Wheels (Pics inside)
Hey guys I finally got my ford gt bbs 18x9 wheels installed along with the stoptech brakes. I love the set-up, I was originally planning on powercoating the wheels a satin or flat black, but didn't get the chance. Should I leave the wheels as is, or do you think I should powdercoat them black like the Stillen Ford GT? Thanks, the brakes make the wheels really dirty, so I'm leaning towards black for that and some contrast to the brakes.
Thanks guys
Fitz

Lokius,
Do what you think is cool, but since u asked........I think the black looks a little to european or something....just looks foreign to me. I think the silver looks much better. Something about the black is sorta cool, but I would definately stay with silver.

black on black looks sick!!
I like it, kind of a mad max car.
a lot more agressive than silver.
I dont even like chorme for my white gt, I would go with black, or a very dark grey.
again, black on black looks incredible for me..and red calipers..

Leave silver, the contrast looks very good. I think wheels should contrast the body color, not blend with it. I think a chrome finish will really bring out the contrast, and I agree with a calipler color...red!

first, get ceramic brake pads to keep the wheels clean
and get black but first take a pic with clean and shined tires so I can see
are those 17s they look really small there

They look tiny because I'm not lowered at all and I went with 255/45/18 tires all around, so there is a bit of sidewall. The wheels are 18x9 all around, and for some reason they look smaller in the back
Here's another picture, it was taken before I installed the front brakes. I'm getting a speed grille installed tomorrow, and afterwards I'll detail the car and take some more shots. I'm really torn on this, because I didn't think I would like the silver as much as I do. I mean I really like it, but I've wanted these wheels in black on the car since I decided to get a black mustang. Oh choices!!
