Need Suggestions (Two Tone Paint Scheme)

Hello Guys and Gals. I was wondering if I could get some suggestions. My car goes in the shop next week for a GT500 front nose and hood. I also removed the rear spoiler so the holes on the trunk lid are getting filled as well. While in the shop I was thinking of maybe doing a two tone paint job but was not sure. My car is torch red with parchment interior. I was thinking black up top and red below. So any opinions, suggestions, pics of other cars or photo chops would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Scott

By sheer coincidence, I have a Torch 07 GT with the top half painted black in metallic black with a silver pin stripe and 20"s at the dealership. I will get you a photo tomorrow(I'm off today), it looks pretty darn good.

That would be great... that's exactly what I want to see. Thanks a bunch!

Yeah, the two-tone look would be SWEET, especially with a Shelby conversion. I would paint the hood a different color, the A-Pillar back to where it meets the trunk. It would look HOT!!! You could also maybe do a White over Red, or even a Silver or Dark Silver over Red. Anyone on here good at Photochop?

Yes, that sound cool too... to many colors to chose from. I was checking out this color: House of Kolor Black Sparkle Pearl... but was not sure how it would look with a solid color. Can you mix solid colors with pearls and metalics?

I like that black roof 'cap' look too with tinted windows I also like the wide Steeda band on the nose they do that matches up to the grille, with pinstripes it would really pop.

I had to go to work to show a customer an 06 HD Fatboy I have on ebay so you're in luck! (one of my favorite vehicles to 'warm up' ) I'm only 4 miles away.

Well here is the two-tone one we have from Mark III customs, so no flak on the small stock tailpipes and the body kit. Paintwork they do is very good though and the red was clearcoated. Also took a couple pics of our service lane, had a couple cool cars there today as well...

Between typing 80wpm and doing hundreds of ebay listings, I can get a full listing with 75 photos up in no time...

Your killing me with the pic of the Shelby Cobra Replica.... that's going to be my mid life crisis car.

Thanks for all the pics so far. I'm defiantly going to do it now. I just need to make up my mind how I want it done.

I'm partial to the full top-hat treatment ala Roush Coddington editions. I would skip the Shazam on our car though and just have a straight line

+1 Straight for sure. It would also look way better without the spoiler. While black looks good, I think a medium to dark gray would look pretty good as well.

Bryan, yours looks sick. After seeing that, I dont think I would recommend that anyone do a two-tone any other way

I love the two-tone black/red paint job. Would definitely vote yes on getting that.

Kevin, that rear bumper on the two-tone at your dealership is... Is that the Mark custom kit? They have some of those at Brandon Ford...not a big fan. They also do the custom jobs for those not too far from Gainesville.

I'm really starting to like the why Bryan has his car done with just the top done like a convertable look.
