I finally got the car done, and have a gallery on 2005Stangs.com I still am having trouble posting here, so I'll put a link to the pictures at the bottom of my post.
First, the stripe measurements- The center stripe is 13 1/2 inches and the two outer ones are 2 inches each there is a gap between the center and side stripes of 2 inches. The rocker panel center stripe is 2 inches with a 1/2 inch gap and the top and bottom are 1/2 inch each.
I am not 100% happy with the stripes but pretty close, and here is why. We had the graphics place special order the material because the metallic-ness (or whatever you call it) matched the metallic satin silver paint. They had never used this stuff before. It was very thick and with the amount of metal in it, they had trouble getting it to bend. They tried to do the spoiler, but couldn't get it to bend around the underside. So they just put it on the top of the spoiler. And they couldn't get it to lay right in the rear bumper license plate area so they didn't stripe under the plate. The cut out where the rear faux gas cap is, isn't even. You can see a little paint around it on the right side. They were afraid of taking it off to do under it because they were worried about damage happening.
All in all, I think they did the best job they could with the material they had to work with. I kinda wish they would have let me know they were having problems with the material and we could have had them use one of the other colors they had. I know they worked super hard and they didn't charge me extra even for all the time it took. I wouldn't have the nerve to go back and ask them to try again on it. They probably never want to see the car again after all the problems!
After we got the car back, we agreed that we really like the design and even though it isn't 100% perfect, we will survive. My husband says he loves the way it looks and down the road we can get it painted, so this is a good preview of how that will look.

Looks very good. You can't see any of the problems in the pics. Even if you can't see them very well, it is still kind of a nagging feeling just knowing that they are there. All in all though I think the stripes look awesome. I am getting stripes on my legend lime in the fall, and I had always assumed I would go for the LeMans style stripes, but after seeing your car I really like the scheme you have. I'll have to think about my decision for a while.

Thanks for everyones input! I like the design a lot too.
Jason (StangNut)- the side stripes are 2 inch middle stripe, 1/2 gap and 1/2 inch top and bottom stripes. They fill up the flat part of the side nicely.

Thanks, Janet. Yeah, they look real good. I've been so concerned with what size I want the main stripes to be, I haven't been thinking about the side stripes.

I finally was able to upload some pictures on here. Thank heavens, I was begining to think I was mentally challenged! Anyway, the pictures in my gallery are updated with the new wheels and tires we put on this weekend. I bought the 17 x 8 silver Bullit wheels and pony spinners from a 5 Star Ford in Phoenix. I got a good deal on them. We wrapped them with Nitto NT 450 255/50/17 tires. Before we put them on we painted the calipers red, which I like a lot! I really like the look of the new wheels and tires, they look more beefy than the old ones. The car handles better now as well, seems to stick to the road better. Anyway, the car is coming along nicely I think . B) [attachmentid=17691]

Looks good but Janet, don't blame the material, after all, several of us have installed the vinyl before and did not have problems, such as around the faux gas cap. Just remember, you like it, we like it, so don't worry about it.

Whoa! I think you inadvertently caught a picture of a UFO! Check out the area above the car in this pic:

Wow. Absolutely the BEST V6 on the planet! I've been rethinking my GT purchase and after the availability, cost of the car, difference of $400 every six months for insurance in NJ, I'm thinking a 2006 Tungsten V6 is in the cards for me.
Even if I went for the Street Scenes body kit for the V6, I can afford it with the money I'll save on insurance premiums in the first 18 months.
Nicely done. The satin spoked Torque Thrusts make the car, as do the stripes.
Enjoy!
