the weather stripping is just this piece of foam its not hard, its like a half a second step

actually there is absolutely NO noise, they bolt up just like stock and actually fit even better. My stock mirrors stuck out even more. Its not the mirrors its the Ford piece attached to the doors that is off. If you are refering to the bit the lip of the top edge sticks out, that is what I am talking about when I mention my stock mirrors, if you are talking about the entire edge being raised above the door molding, then go look at your car thats how the stock ones fit. Either way these fit and look better and there is no sound, you will notice why when you take your mirrors off. There is nowhere for noise to come in that isnt plugged when the mirrors are on.

No offense guys, but the SSE mirrors look like crap in my opinion. I'm usually open minded and don't really bash people on here. I usually like the different styles and opinions people bring to the table on this forum, but I honestly wouldn't put those mirrors on if someone freakin' gave me a set. To each their own though.

rrobello, although your mirrors are a little pricy, they look outstanding. I'm completely diggin them!!!!!

rrobello, I hope there was no confusion. I really like your mirrors. I just think they are a little too pricy. I was referring to the pics of those orange things posing as rear view mirrors.

I like the fact that a company has actually come out with new mirrors but for some reason, even though they are retro, they don't seem to flow well with this mustang IMO. And oddly,I have gotten use to the stockers(as long as they are painted or something)

I know what you mean... I hated them, then I added the MWAG covers and now I'm kind of use to them

I put them on mine today. Painted them to match the car. Lots of compliments already. Had a 69 mach I and they are very close. Probably have the first ones in OKC.

They look like cheap "ricer" mirrors that you would buy off of Ebay.
All they need is the "carbon fiber" finish on them to give them the final ricer touch.
