How well does it stick, is it just with 3m tape? I am afraid of them falling off in the change of climate, hot to cold.

3M tape is quality stuff. While the word "tape" can seem disconcerting, it really is better than you'd expect.

Are the MRT and the new CDC louvers the same? I thought I had read somewhere that CDC manufactured for MRT. Not really sure though.

Question....

How did you go about figuring out where to mount the MRT louvers on the car? I have my set painted and ready to be installed tomorrow, so I am looking for some ideas.

Thanks,

I had the body shop put mine one... LOL (I barely know the right end of a screwdriver! LOL)

I'm not home to look at the car... but here's a pic... looks like they put the bottom of the louver right on the edge of the quarter panel...

Mine are attached slightly higher, with a little room between the bottom of the louver and the body line. For some reason, I think it looks a little more "stock" that way, less like its a stick-on resting on the fender line. Adrenalin has posted on this subject - look for a thread that was active about a month, 6 weeks ago.

I just installed them the same way you did. I like the look with a little space below it. To make sure that both sides where even, we marked a paint stick with the measurements from the top of the car to the top of the louvers, then did the same for the door.

I'll post pics later once I get a few good shots.

Thanks
