My MRT Bullitt pics

Went down to MRT last Saturday and took some pictures of the new MRT hood for Scott... (the hood still needs the screens in the scoops installed)

Even shot a short video of the blinkers: http://www.johnnystacks.com/gallery/...Hood2.flv.html

The rest of my pictures are at: http://www.johnnystacks.com/gallery/...T/2008_Reload/

Enjoy!

That's nothing special.

It's just exactly how the car should've came in the first place.

I think it looks good except for that center line. You could always have that removed or toned down though during prep.

I'll be going down to MRT tomorrow for their Open House... I need to do 2 things:

1) Pictures with the hood up! ( I can't believe I forgot! d'oah!)
2) Video of the washer nozzles in action. Some one was curious how well they worked in their new location...

That's exactly how it should've looked from the factory. I knew MRT wouldn't let us down.

They were going original 67 style which had a relatively pronounced centerline

Yeah I figured that (I had a 68 fastback before the 2006) but the 67/68 has sharper more pronounced lines compared to the S197. The center line looks a litle out of place compared with the rest of the car. It looks great when compared to the 67 deluxe / 68 standard hoods though.

Edit: kinda like this, to me it's along the same lines as the body line that is on the fender and door that runs to the door handles.

That looks really nice. It adds a subtle and tasteful quality that fits the less is more theme of the Bullitt.

About the only other exterior modification it needs is the side mirrors to be painted, or replaced with Agent 47's.

Nice car!

+1 Looks great the stock look on the hood is just to plain. That design set's it off nice. I think if Ford looked and listened to their audience they would'nt be in the mess their in.
