When ordering 2008 Mustang GT Premium, Can the hood scoop be deleted?

 

The hood scoop is not standard on the Mustang GT Premium. The hood scoop is part of the GT Appearance Package, along with the engine cover and chrome exhaust tips. Just make sure the dealer doesn't oder the package and you should be OK.

 

I hate the hood scoop. It is hideous.

The shaker hood doesn't remove enough to get rid of the holes either...From what I hear.
