Nope not a Coastie Tom. A good buddy of mine on the fire dept is retired USCG so I know Aug 4th is your 215th . Always appreciative of our members of service and the sacrifices they make/have made. Thank you for your service

Mike - thanks for the kind words about the service.
John - I didn't use the metal bracket. I installed them at the body shop and slipped the guy $20.00 for helping me. It was definitely easier with two people as far as lining them up.

I missed this thread when it first appeared because I arrived in California the day you first posted it and I didn't get my PC up and running right away.
I may have said this before, but it bears repeating: your car is looking GREAT!
The only thing that's bad is people who don't know better might be disappointed to hear that your car didn't come from the factory that way! Honestly, Ford should use your car as a model for what the production version should look like. Well done, buddy!
