I am going with the ROUSH louvers...................bye bye MRT!!

 

Roush look good too, so no worries.

 

Don't foget about Street Scene's generation 2 louvers. Those are my favorite louvers now... I like them more than the MRT's. I saw the Roush louvers in person, and don't like them. But either way, MRT has probably lost a lot of money by taking so long with there side louvers.

 

I still can't stand Street Scene's louvers. I don't want ones that keep the same shape as the window but I am very unhappy with MRT right now. I am surprised they are having such a hard time with the company that is making the louvers for them. Anyway, I'll still have to wait

 

They told me they didnt lay right on the window, so now the president of the company himself is helping with the retooling. I told them I wanted to wait for theirs, and I have since March.

I ordered the ROUSH ones, and will get them tomarrow. If I do not like, I can always sell them or return them, but it is worth a try. By the time MRT comes out with them it will be christmas........and WAY TO LATE!!!!

I will let you all know how the ROUSH ones turn out.

I take that back...........I am returning my ROUSH louvers and going with SS Gen 2 louvers. Ordered today and will be here Tuesday.


Anyone want to buy the ROUSH ones, I have them, They are cool, just not my style.

Somewhere else (on this forum I think) you said you liked the Roush but weren't sure you would keep them. You say cool, but not your style. Can you be a little more specific? You liked them, thought the exposed bolt heads were not a problem, but now say "not my style". I have read a lot of your posts and have seen your Mustang (nice) and I don't see a "style" pattern. You have a number of different mods, not style specific. Why didn't you like the Roush louvers?

 

I got an email from MRT today and here's what they said...

"We actually received a batch of them in last Friday, however due to the quality of the products when we received them, we found that they were not fit to sell to customers. I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation."

I wanted to go with them but you kinda have to wonder now :scratch:

 

Yeah - for any kinds of products or mods, MRT has fallen way down to the BOTTOM of the list and is about to fall right off...

Tired of the delays, excuses, delays, and the BS....

Sorry - I'll be quite happy with a set of Mike's SS Gen 2 louvers...

(the ONLY thing I am still hanging in for are those *#@$#^%!! headlight covers on the Interceptor I really dig.....

They'll probably be out just in time for the 2007 Stangs.....

 

With all these different styles of louvers it would be nice to see all of them in 1 place...ya know all pictured together to compare them equally.

 

"MY style" meaning they looked very agressive on the car, WHile I am trying to maintain the "retro" feel of the car.
I have returned the ROUSH louvers and today received my STREET SCENE GEN 2 LOUVERS.................and I must say these are great, I like them 100% better then the ROUSH ones. Painting next week, will post pics soon.

Dave has seen my Street Scene Generation One louvers in person, he likes the generation 2 better though
The longer I have them the more I love them..

 

I have been waiting and waiting for the MRT louvers. When I learned today there has been yet another delay I called, cancelled my order and got my deposit back. They have really blown it on this deal! I'm going with the Generation II's from Street Scene.
