WOW! That's amazing. Got to be one of, if not the highest mileage S197 out there. You should make a thread about it, and what all you've had to do to it in that time frame. Would be an interesting read.

Would love to hear of your maintenance history with 256,000 miles on your S197?

Only damage was to the passenger fender and the bumper cover. Replaced the cover, lights, and windshield (very pitted after 250K). Had the hood "corrosion" repaired and repainted along with the fenders and roof. All leading edges (hood, roof) and the bumper and mirrors have been 3M'd.

Still really wish you would make a thread to chronicle what it has needed and how the experience has been over that many miles. Like I said before, you may well have the highest mileage S197 on the road. Ford might like to hear about it as well.

I did a Little Digging and Found My 2011 Shelby Book Catalog & It Lists Grille Only. $79.95 Back Then! And Only in Polished Aluminum. Maybe Jim The Man Who Placed the Shelby Link Knows More About it. I will Say in the Pic in My Book You Can See Just a Little of What Looks Like Those Outer Grille Pieces. Call Shelby & Ask as Well. I will Keep thinking on it and Post if Something Pops Up! Just Click on Jims Name and you Can Email or PM Him!

Good Luck!
