Modded Side Window Scoops
Modded Side Window Scoops
I had a pair of side window scoops in my garage and decided to mod them by opening up the intake and rear sections. I haven't decided yet whether or not I'll actually put them on so they're still unpainted. What do you guys think?

if you do that, you'll need to have a drain hole at the bottom for when water gets in there... also, you'll have no way of cleaning the window spots that will for sure be there, so you may want to invest in getting the inside window cover to hide the spots.

I really like the Agent 47 NACA duct scoops, but they're $200 and I already had these and am trying to make do. What do you think about the looks of my modded scoops? Do they look too phony? I can also get a pair of Saleen PJ/Heritage window covers fairly cheap.
I like the look of the scoops...nice job. I still think that the aftermarket has dropped the ball by not producing a functional scoop though. I may build my own someday.
I think it can be done using different parts. Take the Agent 47 NACA scoops, and then modify a Cervinis side scoop with a matching opening, and place it over the Agent 47, and wha'la!
Or, I was wondering if a 67-68 scoop could be modified to fit, but the above would no doubt be less expensive.time consuming.

I just ordered a pair of Agent 47 NACA duct scoops! For the time being, I'll just plug off the ducts until I figure out how to route them to the rear rotors. Guys, any ideas on how to make them look good from the inside of the car?

make a form outta construction paper, then make that form onto either cardboard or metal or ? Then cover it in vinyl. Mount it over the things, and you're done. Be what I'd do.
Oh, and on the original question? Definitely like. Paint them and stick them. Don't worry about the small stuff, they'll look great.
