I just got my car back from paint yesterday. I had the steeda Cowel hood installed and the Steeda spoiler. The hood has a matte black color. I wanted the subtle look. I think next are some black or gunmetal wheels.

Very nice -

The hood makes a statement, but does not distract from the rest of the car.

Don't do that to me. Mineral grey was my second choice, after Sonic Blue. I did intend to get the Steeda hood, though. Looks good on MG, too. Now you got me thinking.....Oh well, it's too late to change my order! Unless they kick it to '06....I wonder how Tungsten would look done like that? Thanks for the image. It gives me something to think about. BTW,

That gives me ideas that I can't afford right now. Does that hood have the turn signals indicators on the back? Is it functional and does it relieve the pressure build up that everyone is talking about? What about the windshield washer nozzles? NICE!

Thanks guys. I love it and I think it looks even better in person. I really get the head turns now, for sure.

Rich, there are no turn signals, It is functional in that it does relieve the pressure from under the hood, and it does have built in washers.

I wasn't sure how the matte black was going to look and I am totally pleased with it. It really adds some personality to the hood.

I like the hood. Can you take pics of where the washers are located?

Sweeeet! :worship:

Any particular reason you chose the Steeda front spoiler over CDC? Personally, I think the CDC front spoiler would have completed the Mach I look, that is if that was what you were after.

In any case, enjoy the ride!

Here ya go. I still need to adjust the nozzels cuz they spray forward too much.

I am really pleased with the hood. The paint guy said it was one of the best hoods he has worked with in a long time. Meaning it came requiring almost no prep work before paint. Just some minor things.

I like the spoiler, but I think there were better choices.

Looking good!

What about hood pins? Steeda says that hood pins are required for going over 85mph, or are they just trying to sell their pins?

I like this hood alot.

How much did it cost you to get it painted?

Also, could you take a pic from sitting in the driver's seat, so we can see what it looks like from the "cockpit"?

That's exactly my problem. I have my seat up as high as I can put it without looking like an idiot with the drivers seat way higher than the passenger seat. Really like the hood tho, keep up the good work.
