Matte Black Racing Stripes Finished and photos taken. Graphic intense.

I couldn't change the subject of my old thread. So I started a new one so that people know exactly what's going to be shown here.
I LOOOOOOOVE them! Nothings better than saying, I had these custom made from a file that I made myself. No pre-cut stripes here. The guy who helped me get this done is a sign guy. He's done some window graphics with vinyl, but nothing like this before. I'm completely happy with the result. and since he's someone who we work a lot with for signs for our clients, he really cut me a break in pricing. We spent about 11 hours working on this, and he said he'll keep the price under $200 for everything. Vinyl, and labor. Can't beat that.
with the right lighting the stripes really pop. I noticed that if there is something dark behind, reflecting off the car, they show up better. My first location of the car, was right next to the corn field, and you could barliey see the stripes. So I moved the car over by the evergreens. You can really see the difference from the photos from the driver side, to the one taken from the passenger side.

the good thing about the hanger3 on the hood is that you only notice it if you're right up on the car looking at the hood. And thats what I wanted. I didn't want it to stand out too much. I like subtlety, and wanted something that people may notice only if they take a closer look. Like finding a surpise. The type is only about 1/2 inch tall, so it doesn't take up a whole lot of room.
The photos can be deciving. I showed pictures to my mom before she saw it in person, and when she looked at it, she almost didn't see it because she was looking for something much larger.

Very nice!
Thanks Guys. It was a fun project. The next mod is a CAI/Tuner.
Also, forgot to mention that the picture of the Stang and the Grand Am was on purpose. Its the before and after, or current I guess. It was my first car when I turned 16 in '96. My dad drives it as his work car since it gets much better milage than his truck. But thought it would be kinda cool to show where I was, to what I have now.
