I have a black car and I'm buying one from "Cowtown". I'll take some pics of it once I get it.

I was wondering over time if the magnet would pull iron through the paint?

Pulls iron form somewhere, but I don't think its from the paint. Every once in a while Ill spot a spec of surface rust at the very lower end of the panel. Its easily wiped off, and the rear deck is very waxed. This was going thru a Chicago winter. We will see what spring/summer brings.
I remove it every other wash for cleaning.

last time I pulled mine up to wash underneath, it was 'stuck'...a week later it was stuck worse, actually starting to look 'wrinkled' looking at an angle- getting the stuck chunks off was a little bit scary- black vinyl pulled from magnet, leaving chunks of magnet stuck tight- almost like glued to the paint...if you havent had yours off lately, suggest keeping a close eye on it- I'm guessing UV takes its toll on the vinyl/magnet after about 1 year in the sun, as mine was fine till a month ago. Time to paint the blackout I guess..or get a SHR honeycomb panel...

a little hard to tell in this photo, but i think it looks really good on the alloy. although, this definately should only be a temporary thing imo. i want to eventually paint the panel.
