Mach 1 wheel questions
The Mach 1 wheels used by some members of TMS have been listed as part number M-1007-M178. These wheels are 17X8 and many web sites say they fit up to 04 with an offset of 30.
At the local dealer I picked up a new brochure, "2005 Custom Wheels Accessories". This brochure is green and has an F-150 on the cover. On page 3, right at the top of page is the Mach 1 wheel! The number is XR3Z-1007-CA and it says "Fits 2005 Mustang". I did a search on this number and it comes up on one site only www.fordgenuineaccessory.com and that site does not say anything about offset.
Why the difference in the part numbers? Is there any real difference? So what I am hoping here is that the XR37-1007-CA is in fact the correct 45 offset instead of the 30 on the older Mach 1s. Anyone able to confirm or deny? Most say the offset is not a big deal but I would prefer the 45.
Thanks to anyone that can help.

The wheel guide is posted in the documents section as well...

They're probably just stretching the specs of what will look right on the '05 or they're assuming most people don't care (or don't know the difference) if their wheels stick out farther than stock.
Thanks for the input guys. Figured it was probably too good to be true. Likely a typo in the brochure. I do like the look of the Machs, something a bit different but still pretty affordable and retro. I personally hate the look of the tires sticking outside the wheel wells, even a little bit. Very happy with the look of the bullits but I'll keep my eyes open for alternatives, thanks again.

Just an FYI,
