They look great! How much did it cost to paint them? Did you have Ford paint them or auto body shop?

My dealer painted and installed 'em.. only $200 to prime, paint & install... visability is about the same as before, I never used that window much so no big loss... hardest thing is when u turn to look back that big black spot stares right at you- guess it will take some gettin use to

They are attached using 3m tape, I am guessing that they can be pulled off gingerly but 3m makes a pretty strong sticky. 3d Carbon did a great job- contact Patti if you are intereseted...

A simple mod that looks nice enough that you don't need anything else. Great job.

Michael:

How do the decals look? Can you tell they are decals up close? I just received mine and was considering having the spaces painted black instead of using the decals...

What do you think?

That's not bad

After seeing what sooo many here are doing to their cars with crass cow catchers (chin spoilers), awful tinting, oversized blingin' wheels and garish spoilers...it's refreshing to see somebody apply a tasteful mod.

How can tinting be awful It's either black at the darkest or clear with no tint. Not that I disagree about the wheels spoilers and such, though I do really like mrt's and cdc's small chin spoiler.

And whats "garish"?

Tinting gives a car a drug dealer personality.

Garish:

gar·ish Audio pronunciation of "garish" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (gârsh, gr-)

1. Marked by strident color or excessive ornamentation; *gaudy*.
2. Loud and flashy: garish makeup. See Synonyms at gaudy1.
