We know the quarter window louvers of 3dCarbon aren't "real" in the sense that you cannot see through them as they are solid.

So the question is which ones are "real" i.e. you can see out of them?

Thought this might be a good place to gather this info for people who are interested in buying quarter window louvers. Sorry if this info is elsewhere, figured there would be a fair amount of threads to search through for information that I haven't seen posted.

The Streetsceene louvers have actual "slits" that can be seen through, sorta.

MRT and Roush also have the real openings but don't plan on seeing out those windows while you drive.

I know it has been brought up before, but how exactly are you supposed to clean inside of there? After thinking about it, not so sure I want them now.

Hang on just a little bit longer. I'm waiting for info from the engineer at MRT regarding the "removeability" of their louvers for cleaning. Some say they are, some say they're not. In any event, I'm getting them no matter what the final answer.

If you ask me, they're all fake because they are just tacked on the glass to mimic the look of the functional air vents of the classic fastbacks.

That said, I'll be getting the MRT "fake vents" when I get mine because they do the best job of approximating the original.
