I'm getting REAL tired of waiting for WheelReplicas to come out with the FR500 replicas. They've changed the realease date 3 times already and I have a feeling when the end of June rolls around, they'll either change it again or they won't offer them in black.

The one pictured below is my second choice

The only reason I haven't ordred any already is they don't offer them in black. I can get them blasted and powdercoated around here, but there isn't anyone that can machine the lip. I don't want an ALL black wheel.

Any ideas?
I'd be willing to have them delivered somewhere and then shipped to me.

Thumbs down

my own experience with these wheels:
the chrome flakes off when sandblasted!
you will need to take them to a chrome shop and get rid of the chrom first...

Try Al Reed Polishing in Anaheim, CA. They do big time work on Porsche wheels, and polished and powdercoated the Vintage 48 Minilite replicas on my 69 BOSS.

Professional, but slow, they are busy, but do A+ work.

Don't have the number, but available thru 411.

Good luck.

What rims are they? They look pretty sharp and on a black stang I think the chrome would look sweet.

Thanks, guys.

I don't think it matters if the chrome flaks off. The point of sandblasting is to get it all off anyway.

They're on eBay or there's a thread on here somewhere that has a link to a guy that sells them.
EBAY: 18x9" 2006 COBRA MOTORSPORT CHROME RIMS FIT 05 MUSTANG

They even offer them for pre-05 Mustangs.
