Looking for 18"x10" wheels to match factory Bullitts…

I've got the factory 18" Bullitt style wheels and I'd like to add some 18X10's in the back but none of the aftermarket wheels match the factory ones. They all have an extra bevel just inside the rim. This is probably due to the way they're made, but in any case does anyone know of any that look like this:

Here's your typical aftermarket Bullitt:

No match in 18x10... I was looking into that myself.

So have them custom widened. Burke0011 on here saw an S197 at Steeda (Pompano Beach FL) a while back that had the factory 18" Bullitts widened to 10".

That's interesting Dave. I wonder who offers this 'widening' service? Because of liability, I'm sure not all wheel shops can do this.

If you have anymore info, please post it here.

Scott, this may be a good option, as long as it's done right.

I found this over at an LS1 forum:

I've done it. I had http://www.fixrim.com in Dallas widen some 18x8.5 wheels into 18x10 wheels. It took them 7 weeks to get them back to me, but they did an outstanding job. When I took my wheels/tires in to have them mounted/balanced the guy said they balanced out great. It was $200 a rim + $15 a rim shipping to have it done.
$215 per wheel! I can get brand new deep dish Bullitts for a lot less than that. Not to mention it takes seven weeks!

And that price was back in 2003!

I found a couple wheel shops in my area that offer this service. I'll inquire when the time comes.

The main reason why I'm even considering this, is because I don't care for the DD look, but rather keep the Ford 18" Bullitt design (lip free) if at all possible.

When you widen a wheel, all the extra width is added to the inside of the wheel. Would that cause a fitment problem?

I don't think so (could be wrong though !).
If you want to maintain the correct offset, any increase in wheel width would be to the inside.

Guess the question is, how wide can you go without interfering with other components?

Not an expert at ALL on this subject, but when & if I go with different wheels on mine,I'd just go aftermarket. I really like my 18" polished bullets, but I also like the aftermarket Magnum 500 wheels out now and the Black bullets offered.
Bear in mind it's because it would fit well with my current scheme/tribute/whatever you call it.
$200.00+ per wheel just seems alot for modifying factory bullets.
Just my 2 cents worth.
