Definately check out SHR. If you don't see one that grabs your eye. They do one-of's also.

I am confused? Chip, discoloration? I have always said if I change this I would get something from Billet & Acrylic.

I can send you my stocker, you'll just need new double-side tape.

ive noticed this little problem on a lot of fords, the crome badge looks great, but the black paint comes off to easy...look at f-series badges they have the same issue...o well tho...isnt there a blackout panel that eliminates it all together and you jsut have a keyhole?

I am going to do this, need to find the best method (steel wool?) then I would like to incorporate some red into it, maybe some paint.

It is just matter of the black paint coming off, I really have no idea how it happened in such a large area. I am worried about taking the emblem off becuase in order to do so, I would need to heat it up, but wouldnt that loosen up the stripes as well?

What about warranty? I would think that would fall under the bumper to bumper warranty. Yours is a 2007 if I read your profile correctly.

If you can avoid paying a cent for what is an obvious factory defect I say go for it.

just my .02

Interesting, I think its a bit of a hassle for something I can fix for 10 bucks.

I thought this Silverhorse Medallion looked classy...some may not feel it is worth the $$$ but I liked it and it fits with my retro theme...

if it is only held on by tape couldnt you use fishing line to run behind it with a sawing motion to get it off
