I am having trouble finding a locking gas cap for 05 stang,, Cavalier Ford is no help. Anyone purchased one yet. Thanks.....

I have the locking cap and the correct number is 4L3Z-9K163-AA. Works great, easy on, easy off with a tether.

That part I've been told is for the F150 locking gascap.
I take it they are one in the same.
(Works on both the F150, new 05 Stang)

Can anyone confirm this?

I was told that the cap fits "other Ford products". Didn't ask which.

:angry: I'm not concerned about someone stealing gas but there are a lot of jealous people out there.
B) So ....... stopped by dealer on way home. $31 w/CA tax.
Less than 2 minutes to change out; had to get small needle nose to pull out old strap Works like a champ.
