Limited number of Clear lense sets in stock @ New Edge

I found a small quantity of APC clear bumper lenses for the S197 Mustang. I have them in stock. I am offering these to the Mustang Source community first. I have matched Jeg's price on this item....they are bring much more on Ebay, but I feel it is more important to serve this community first!

Darn Tony, I was in Cumberland over the weekend. If I had seen your post earlier I would have stopped over. I'll check you out the next time I am back in town.

I'll be looking out for them. How difficult is it to install these?

In the 05/06 Mustang section, drill down into the exterior appearance section. Street Scene brake ducts for the rear quarter panels...behind the door and ahead of the rear wheel.

I hope this helps.

oh they are the side scoops...i do not know why they say brake ducts to make them brake ducts you have to drill a nice sized hole in the panel and fit a tube aimed at the brake caliper

I think the name comes from the old Shelby Mustang days where the quarter scoops were used to feed air to the rear brakes.

Yeah now all they do is just create drag. It would be cool to have them if they actually were functional.

I guess you could make them functional if you wanted to do some fab work, but I do not know how much a street car would need the additional cooling! Like many style items, it comes from racing, whether you need it or not!

Street Scene has a new part that mounts in the same area that is not a scoop as it is a dress-up part. I saw it in the last issue of 5.0 on a light blue convertible.
