Lol, tell your buddy hes got his Tripletreds on backwards. At least the RF is
Im guessing someone rotated his tires, and crossed the fronts., By the tracks of the lr its ok, i just cant make out the LF

I'm not too sure. Those are his winter rims, I'll let him know.... but picture it in your head, the RF will leave the same track as the RR. Could the tires have been mounted the wrong direction?
The tread indicates that all tires are running the same way, except for the LF which we can't tell. Quit looking at the top of the tread on the RF and instead look at the tread at the bottom of the tire where it meets the pavement, then picture what kind of pattern it's going to leave when moving forward... the same as the rear. But anywho, we're off topic. I just posted the progress on my hood in a prior thread. It's nearing completion. I should have all the prepwork and underside paint done by weeks end, then off to the bodyshop for paint on the topside.
If I wasn't a full time student and full time dad with a full time job, then this would've all been done long ago.

Just arrived. Do not sign any papers until you check it. Have a soft drink ready for the driver. lol.

Here are some pictures taken while its being painted at the body shop. It was sanded, primed, sealed, and painted four times due to workmanship of the hood.

Drying in the sun before putting the hood on the car. One week of sun bathing.

Here are some pictures of the car with the hood pins. I asked Boltzman for input on the hood pins and after seeing the photograph he sent, I decided to make a bracket out of 1/4 inch stainless steal because I did not want to remove the whole front of the car. I painted the brackets black and the only thing missing now are the black stripes which will have to wait 'til next week because of rain. I drilled a 1/2 inch hole in the rain pans and put a hose in it to drain rain water. I will put them in the trunk and have them ready in case of rain. I didn't want to defeat the purpose of the louvers releasing the heat. Thanks everyone.

Trick I read about putting in hood pins, is mount them first where you want them, radiator support in this case, then put peanut butter on the top of them, and then lower the hood on to the pins. The peanut butter will mark the hood location for you to drill. I know it sounds corny, but that's what I read.

That is EXACTLY how I did mine!!!
George,Looks awesome
Glad it worked out for you.Did you navigate through the pics ok? I found out through my painter that if I want to get new headlite assembly installed, that the whole front has to come off. Is this correct? My plastic shield is cracked from heat or something and the last thing I want is to have the jokers at Ford messing w/ my fascia
