I have read alot about what people are thinking of doing as far as bigger tires but i cant find any pics. Has anyone put a 255 or 275 on the stock 17" bullits? If so can you please post some pics. I want to put the same size on all four and think the 275 will look nice on the rear but not sure about the front. The only pics i have found having larger tires also have 18"wheels, I want to stick with the 17's for now.

Thanks everyone

Tony

PM the member "SixtySix." He has 255/50/17s on his stock rims. He might send you a pick. I haven't seen them, but tirerack.com recommends that those tires go on an 8" rim. As far as the 275s, I think they would be way too big on an 8" rim. You would have a lot of bulge, and you would really lose the point of having that much tread anyway, with it bowed under. Just my opinion.

Tony, check out the exterior mods section as there is tons of info there. Biggest you can put on the stock rim is 255/50. Any wider is unsafe.

Tony, those are the same tires I want to get eventually. Can you give us some feedback on the performance of the Nitto's, as far as handling in wet and dry conditions?

I'm running 275/40/17 in the rear with no issues...I've buried the speedo on it and taken turns quickly so I can safely say nobody should have any problems with the 275's on the factory 17" wheels...
