KR style hood question

Is there a KR style hood that would allow me to keep my GT fog lights and not have to do a GT-500 front end conversion? If so, who makes it? Also, if any of you have that set up if you could post some pictures from the front and sides that would be great.

Thanks.

Edit: And yes, that new hood that Silver Horse Racing carries is sweet.

yes, Trufiber has a few KR style hoods for the GT front end that would allow you to keep your GT fog lights

call Phil @ Trufiber, his number is 714.451.1444

here is their website..http://trufiber.com/c-29-mustang-2005-2008.aspx

thanks for the pictures guys. I just looked on silverhorseracing.com and didn't see any hoods for sale. Do you have a link? Did any of you have to put hood pins in your new hood to keep it from fluttering?

as for hood pins, I plan on adding them, and yes they do flutter but only at high speeds (120+ ) or when passing an 18 wheeler on the highway. they mount in the center pair of holes in place of the hood susport rubber things.

my stock hood "fluttered" when I cruised on the interstate, so when I installed my fiberglass hood I didn't even think twice about putting hood pins on the car

here are some pics of my Trufiber Venom Hood..

(when I had the lanyards on, these were the bolts I used)

With my stock hood, I've gone pretty fast... the only time my hood has fluttered is one day on the interstate going 70, must have been really windy that day. It was so bad I slowed down to around 50.

There is the Fang/AeroForm Mystery8 hood/fascia extension. It's more 68 KR style, then 08 KR style... and alot more than just a hood. But I personally think they look pretty sweet.

the hood looks good, but I'm not crazy about the fascia extension.

How would you know?

I don't know of any US highway with a 120mph speed limit.

05 Mustang, I think he's talking about the Aeroform hood. Like the original GT500 it has an extension in front of the hood that stick out further over the bumper. This lets the hood scoop run to the forward edge of the hood, and still have the flat spot out in front of it.
