Aw, c'mon...it's just a little vinyl.

I do agree, I don't care for that stripe myself, but it can't be THAT bad

I love the Stripe!! It says Mustang.. I dont see where the problem is... The guy put on a stripe which had the name of his car..

I expected alot more from dustindu4!! This in fact proves that this is a disease which infects some of the koolest people...

We should call this disease V6-Elo-fant-ti-tus... A disease in which corrupts the mind of a sane individual.. By simply removing 2 harmoneous cylinders from an engine, you can undoubtedly drive a completey moral and humble man completely insane...

The guy puts on some vinyl which to me brings out the lines of the new S197 body style.. The guy even drives a GT, but the fact that he put something on his car typically associated with a V6, his car is bashed on talked about on the internet like a piece of garbage.. LOL!!

dustindu4 in my mind is still a pretty kool guy, however this does prove that a true Pandimic is among us.. Its called the V6 syndrome... Becarefull all you sane GT owners, someday it could reach out and grab you.. Thus far, there is no cure..

I took off the GT emblems on the sides and the GT fake gas cap and changed to the running ponies from the pony package, I think it looks better now, I always loved the running horse on my 65 so I made the swap.

Isnt that interesting.. The old V8's did used to have a running Pony on the gas cap.. I wonder how the running ponies got associated with V6's all of a sudden in 2005?

It is strange.. Nice point... The running ponies are another thing some guys get upset about, and I dont know why...

Now granted some of them did have a GT on the back.. However, the running pony looked just as good.. Anyone want to tell me this car in the link is not a V8?

I think you have to lighten up a bit MSP. I think Dustin just doesn't like the stripe, neither do I. My reason isn't that it is associated with the V6, I just think the car looks better without it.

I love that '66 GT fender emblem. Those 66 GTs had a rocker stripe too if I remember correctly.

I would also have had a GT 300 stripe on with the running ponies, but my dumbhiney messed it up while cutting it at the doors.

I agree with Dustin.
I live 25 miles from him. And it's rare enough just to get a GT here.
152 days and waiting.
Why put that stripe package on it.

funny enough the the first thing I was going to do was remove the black stripe on my red V6 pony package and now about 50 out of 50 people have made a point to compliment that darn stripe in particular I think the black rockers on V6's make the black stripe work.

As for the GT emblem I hate it with a passion. I really loved when the pony and bars showed up on the 03/04 mach. If I get a GT later I'm dumping those emblems in a second and swapping for the pony emblems.
