Just ordered my HID's

Its been SO long since i've done anything to my car, its been a depressing thought. I thought i'd order some HID's since one of my distributors offers them at stupidly cheap prices. I ordered some dual beam, slim ballast, 6000K. Can't wait to get them and put them in! I hope they don't end up like my lowering springs, which are still sitting in a box and have been since June.

I've been trying! We're busy, therefore the lift is busy.

Yeah, a friend of mine has a CS as well and has a lot of the same mods I want, including the same lowering springs. Every time I see his car it gives me the bug. Maybe after this week i'll have a chance to throw it on the lift.

And if you're wondering why I don't just use a jack...why use a jack when you have a lift?

Just a question: I installed a set of HID's this past Summer and I am now having an issue w/ condensation in one of my lights.... Has anybody had a problem w/ this? It is obviously a seal prob. but not sure where...

Sorry I don't mean to Hijack.

^^ Ive got the same problem going on. I used a VVME kit and I think it has something to do with the fact that I used their rubber O-rings instead of the OEM rings.

Back order.

However on the other hand, I did get a panhard rod from my boyfriend for an early early anniversary gift. So i'm sending it off for powdercoating today. Black or purple...

So, I am going to take the bumper off to dry it out as well but when you say re-seal are you talking about just replacing the bulb seal or are you talking about sealing everything up just to reinforce....

I had it powder coated a reaaaaaally dark purple since that's the only one they carry in stock(and I didn't feel like painting more for a brighter color). I'm thinking about having my springs powder coated the same color, but we'll see what kind of deal they make me.

My HID's should be shipping out tomorrow.

Just double up the 2 rubber gaskets! Take the stock one and put it with the one that came with the hid bulbs. Thats what we had to do to my buddys car. He bought his kit from HIDguy.net.

Just pull the ones off the stock bulbs. I did the same thing as IHVOCD and it's worked out great. Plus it's free.
