Just got the Sylvania Silverstar H13/H10 Bulbs In *Pics*

Just got the Sylvania Silverstar head light (h10) and fog light (h13) off eBay and got them installed. Everything was straight forward except it was hard as hell to get the drivers side bulb to turn, but it all worked out in the end. Here are the pictures, they really don't show how much difference there really is between these and stock.
Sorry for the qualityI did what I could with no tripod.

So far driving with them, there quite a bit more light output, at least it seems that way. I also really like the pure white with hint of blue that they emit. Good buy for under $50. Good stocking stuffer aswell.

Nice, how did you get the fogs to come on by themselves? Do they seem to be better when driving the interstate on low beam?

Turn on the car twist the light switch one click to the right and pull.

I think they are better in every aspect than the stock lights except day time visibility. Meaning if you did for some reason want to have your lights on during the day, they are harder to see.

Nice. I had Silverstars on my 2001 GT. I found the light to be whiter but a little less dim. I thought about getting them for my 06 GT. Good to hear someone out there thinks there better.

I accidently drove around last night with only my fogs on but they were alone such good light that I didnt even notice until I pulled up to the back of a Camaro at a Light and only saw two of my bulbs lit up. I was like wtf? then it hit me...

Those Silverstars are very good. OK, they're not HID, but they are a great improvement over the stock bulbs. I've had them in for a few months now. As SlamMan02's pics show, they are whiter and brighter than stock.

They should be coming out with the Silverstar Ultras for our cars next year, and I'll probably get them. They promise to be even better. You can get some high wattage (mostly Asian manufacture) bulbs, but the Sylvanias are DOT legal and will last longer.

I've had mine in since Aug or Sep(whenever they first hit the stores) and haven't had any problems that I can see. I love the better lighting and I've had the fogs in over a year now with no problem either.

H10 would be the ST9145 fog light. H13 is the headlight.

I haven't had any overheating problems with Silverstars in my '05 or when I had my '96.

The link for the Ultras is http://www.sylvania.com/AboutUs/Pres...rStarUltra.htm

So where do you get instructions for switching out the headlight and foglights with the Silverstars? Is it in the owners manual? I bought a set and have no idea how to switch them out.

Nevermind. I just installed them. The headlights are a snap. The passenger side fog light is a pain. All in all they look whiter and somewhat brighter. Even if they are not al that much brighter the whiter color is much better than the ugly and dim yellow color. I haven't taken them out on the road yet due to snow and ice. I will post my on road results once I can get the GT out.
