Looks good! Very '66 looking. I'm not sure how much good the fog lights do anyway. Maybe put smaller replacements in the lower grille? I might spray the shinier components behind the grille black to lessen their impact, but no biggie.

QuikStang, how difficult was the install? Did you buy it directly from CDC or another parts supplier? I see you live in south FL (Treasure Coast to be exact) not too far away from me. How long did it take to arrive once you placed the order?

Your tri-bar and pony on the grill is slightly crooked....

Looks great but If it were me I would loose the tri-bar pony on the grill. Just my opinion though. I think it would make the front look cleaner. I really like the hood on it too.

Looks awesome, dump the tri-bar though

I would eventually get the CDC chin spoiler painted, will make it look even more sinister.

I think that is one of the most badass black stangs I have seen.
I am a huge member of the anti-rice movement, and i think the wing even looks cool on that beast. kinda like it might just chop a challengers car in half after it blows their doors off.. you need a punisher skull, or some other stark white symbol of doom on the hood now.

Personally I like how the Procharger intercooler is visible through the lower grille, but I agree with painting the parts behind the upper grille black.

In all, the car looks great, the Steeda hood makes it perfect!

Thanks for all the comments and inputs everybody. I will definately take a look at the pony emblem to align it better, however it is there to stay. As far as the "rice factor" goes on the rear spoiler, I actually wanted to go for a look that is a little different from the traditional "ducktail" or "GT500" rear spoiler so I opted for the Steeda spoiler. I really like the looks of the others but I just wanted something a little different.

The install took me about an hour, not difficult at all. The instructions provided were very easy to understand. I purchased it from a dealer of CDC parts who is cheaper on CDC parts than everybody I've seen including CDC. However, it was drop-shipped directly from CDC and I recieved it within a week. PM me if you want to know the dealer I purchased it from...I don't think they are a supporting vendor here.

Yeah if anything the removal of the old grille is more work than the install of the new one.

I'll have better pics in the next week, but for now, here's mine.

It looks great. I've been wondering what the black would look like on a black car. Not that yours doesn't look great, but I think I'm going to go with the silver finish for mine.

I'll shoot you a PM if you don't mind letting me know who you got yours from.

Thanks

I paid something like $375Cdn shipped including taxes which was a good deal as I got it from my side of the border and didn't have to pay the ridiculous Fedex or UPS brokerage fees. It's $290 on their site, I can't imagine getting it for much less. I know a few of the other ones out there are a few bucks cheaper but I can atest to the build quality and finish on the CDC one. Oh and the emblem was I think like $20 more, but it fits on the grille perfectly.

$280 plus $40 for the emblem plus shipping.

Right on...I too contemplated the silver one. Either way would look great.
