JMS Products
Back in November/December I visited a company called JMS Products in S. Hackensack. I just received a phone call from Jay, the owner, telling me that they have finally made some parts for the 05 Mustang and are sending me some of the finished products and they look great! They have their stuff posted on their website. They have made a Hood Scoop, Side Scoops, Grilles, and Rear Deck Spoiler. Very please with the turn out of the products. Although the mold products on the pictures below are black, the still look pretty good. Not to thrilled about the JMS on the Grille, but the grille comes in different styles! They are in the works on a Targa Top Kit for the 05 Mustang as well as their version of a twin turbo kit!!!! He said that all these products will later be offered as a package for under $500. Very cool guys!
And here is what the website has to say:
Immediately available are the side scoops, Grilles and hood scoop. We will be adding a full section dedicated to the totally redesigned 05 to include full body upgrades, grilles, Targa and Turbos. This 05 will have many faces as our project/development car. This car will be widened, targa topped, lowered, new rear deck wing, modified front clip, Custom upholstery, Custom wheels and last but not least a stage 4 Turbonetics Turbo. Since the stock numbers are more like 330 HP, we are expecting 500hp minimum. Our next 05 project car will have similar features as the JMS 051 car, but will have a modded motor with twin turbos and other high end mechanical upgrades. ( FYI the 05 is a beast off the showroom floor and offers many upgrades to the previous years. The overall quality and attention to detail is phenomenal. The trans on the auto shifts like a dream... virtually no RPM lag between gears and it keeps the motor in the 4-6k powerband. The braking and coil over suspension is flawless for street. This is the Stang to get and truly offers a huge bang for the buck!!!
and check out the pics.......

Yah from the looks of those pictures, looks pretty cheesy. The hood scoop looks bent, the side scoops look too small, the rear wing or whatever you call that looks like a dolphins fin. Just my opinions, I am sure some will like.

The hood scoop looks similar to the old Boss 429 scoop, but it looks like it dips in the middle, like it's a bad molding perhaps. It has some potential though, if the molding were cleaned up and it had a nice paint job on it.
The grille is absolutely horrid, it is a huge stop down from the stock grille. If someone doesn't like the GT driving lights, they'd be better off swapping a V6 grille on.
The side scoops might work if they were body color.
The tail thing...

They are in the process of painting the parts. I saw the original mold when I first went for measurements, yea the front of the scoop does come inward a lil bit, its because of the way the hood is made.
They are heading to a show in carlisle, PA with the car finished with painting and such. I asked them, if they could, to get close up pics of the hood scoop and the side scoops once they are painted and to send them to me.
