it's all in the details...




Did this last weekend. Couldn't decide on the color to paint them. I was thinking on an orange car it's probably best to keep the brakes low key. So what ya'll think?

THANKS guys! I used Rust-oleum engine enamel for the caliper (gun metal) and I used VHT "high temp" caliper paint on the pad (red). I used to use the brush on caliper paint but they only had black... so i thought i would try out the spray. I think it turned out great. Lets just see how long it lasts!

That looks great. I've been trying to think up a way to break-up that area on my car and didn't want the calipers completely red. I'll probably copy what you did when I change my pads.

I bought the MGP caliper covers as a temporary solution. I finall found a guy that will powdercoat them thats close to me. Im also going to have him powdercoat my wheels black chrome. I think my calipers will end up mirror finished blue.
