Installing a GT rear bumper
I am about to install a GT bumper on my v6, but I think I might have undersestimated it.
I pulled up the PDF file in the others pasts on this topic and it looks like alot of parts.
Do I need to order any replacement parts, because I just have the GT bumper, or can I re-use all of them?
Also, about how hard is this? :/

The only thing you'll probably be missing is one of those push-pin type plastic body retainer for the bottom of the bumper. the V6 has two, the GT bumper has three.
None of it is too difficult, but basic mechanical skills are needed.
When I did mine, I played it safe and order all new bolts and rivets from Kevin. For all of my stock Ford parts, I go to him. Here is his email, he is very responsive and posts on several forums.

Getting the parts from Saleen was a hoot. First UPS lost them enroute for 10 extra days, then when they showed up, the driver took them off the truck in front of my relative, and put them right back on saying the box was damaged and they had to go back to the UPS depot for "inspection". Again UPS lost them and it took another week to locate them again. I was home when they tried to redeliver, and the rotors, calipers, etc were all just wrapped in one layer of that thin bubble wrap (the type with approx 1/8" bubbles and tossed in the box. Naturally they had beat each other to death enroute (steel brake hoses were bent and cut halfway through by the rotor edges, pads had broken clips, etc. I had to refuse the shipment.
There was another delay of a few weeks as UPS dragged it's feet confirming to Saleen the shipment was now junk. Finally Saleen shipped another set, and the delivery was faster, but the packing was much the same, and the results were identical. What should have been 4 parts had turned into 20 enroute....
As you can imagine by this time I was furious with both Saleen and UPS. And this is where you can see the power of one good employee to go above and beyond the call of duty and totally change a customer's opinion of a bad situation.
I called Saleen one more time, and asked for a supervisor. After a wait I was connected to a guy named Manny. I explained the ongoing situation to him (more calmly than I was actually feeling, I wasn't screaming or being rude even though I was pretty frustated). Manny listened to what was going on, and told me he would take care of preparing the next shipment personally, and not to worry about getting UPS to pickup the junk parts, just toss 'em.
Now of course I'm expecting another week waiting to see if Manny comes through. Imagine my shock, when at 10:15am the very next morning, the Fedex guy struggles up my front walk with a 67 pound package. Manny had overnighted the replacements to me at a cost of 5 times what I'd originally paid for the parts!
Inside the big box, each rotor and caliper had been individually bubble wrapped, and then sealed into smaller boxes. Everything was in mint condition. He even tossed in a set of splash shields that weren't part of the original purchase.
I never even got this guy's last name, but he singlehandedly turned my opinion of Saleen's operation from a bunch of dopes who shouldn't be trusted with a packing tape gun, into convincing me that they will REALLY take care of their customers

Thanks, that is really cool. Just goes to show Saleen stands by thier product and thier customer service. Let me know how they work out, new brakes are on my list.
