the instructions look straight forward. Here is some of my concerns?

1. Can one person do it?

2. Aligning up the spoiler and pulling the tape off, whats the chance of a oops?

3. other than a alcohol wipe down, any other prep?

I put mine on and it was easy. I used an angled screw driver to remove the screws in front of the wheel , so I didn't have to remove the wheels or jack the car up. Pull a small section of the tape off and leave it sticking out so you can pull the rest of it off after it's installed. It snaps on really easy , then put the screws back on and put the plastic pins in the holes underneath , there were none from the factory to remove , and then pull the rest of the tape off ...

 

Steve's directions were "spot on". Exactly what I did.

Took me 10 minutes tops. Like the guys said, you need a small angled screwdriver unless you want to remove the wheels (and why bother). As the directions indicate, just remove a few inches of the tape backing and align that one end first (the same side you bolted on first).

Something to consider: if it's not prepainted, I'd have it painted first, ESPECIALLY if it's to be black. If body color, I suppose it doesn't matter...I happened to get a black prepainted spoiler from www.partshopper.com...

I ran mine up on a 2X4 for height and turned the wheels to full lock for both sides because I don't have an angled screwdriver. Got er done.

 

I got mine also from the parts shopper (got good service also). My stang is already black and I got it pre painted matte black. I hope to get a street scenes lower rear valence soon to match it all up.

Take care when you slide the last end around your fender for the final two screws. Mine came with a 1/4 in crack by the upper screw. When I installed it, that final "stretch" ran the crack out about another 1/2 inch. I had to fill it in and touch-up paint it afterwards.
