Installed my CDC classic

Just got my CDC Classic spoiler prepainted from Atlanta Auto Accessories. Fit and finish were perfect. I installed it in about 5 minutes. Now I just have to decide on whether to leave it spoilerless on the back or install a Roush spoiler. Which would you all do?

Looks great. Not a fan of the Roush spoiler so I would have to say leave it alone if that is the only one you were thinking about

Classic looks good.

My preference is against the Roush... a CDC ducktail or GT500 on the other hand...

The classic chin looks great! I can't wait to get enough money saved up to get mine.

I'm not a big fan of the Roush spoiler either, but I would definately go for the CDC Ducktail...not that I'm biased or anything.

Definitely CDC Ducktail. You've already got the spoiler delete car to start with which is perfect for that spoiler. If mine had come spoiler delete that's what would be on my car. I think it would look kick *** with those razors and the chin spoiler. Just my opinion.

And add some Agent 47 mirrors painted WB and that would be just about perfect.

Good looking car Daren. A $5 tip for you. If your ever going on a long highway trip with the Mustang, cover the chin spoiler with 3M Blue Painter's Tape (2" or 3" roll). It will help keep the chips that occur from driving on highways at high speeds.

I would get the streetscene ducktail. It has a little better shape to it than the CDC in my opinion.

Thanks for the comments and tips. You all just saved me some money, I was ready to pull the trigger on the Roush spoiler. Guess being able to get it prepainted made it an attractive choice. I really like the Street Scene spoiler because it has an opening for the 3rd brake light. I wish there were more pictures of the Cervini Stalker spoiler. It reminds me of the Saleen rear. I tried to get some from Cervini but they don't seem to eager to make a sale. You think they could snap a picture of it with a camera phone for a potential customer. I would go with the Saleen rear but I don't like the center exhaust and I wouldn't give up my FRPP Stingers for it.

I wish I had kept my car spoiler delete. Think long and hard before drilling all those holes that the CDC ducktail requires. On the other hand the SS spoiler just uses sticky tape so that would be the way I would go in retrospect. JMO~

BTW the chin spoiler looks

If you do decide to go with the CDC ducktail, you can always get their third break light kit to go with it. I have it and it was VERY easy to install, plus it looks really cool when those LED's come on across the back window. I think they should have put the light up in the back window to start with instead of on the trunk. You do have to drill a lot of holes with the CDC, but if you take your time it isn't too bad. They give you a template for the holes that need to be drilled, and if you go to harbor freight or home depot and invest in a $2 spring loaded center punch it will help you mark exactly where you need to drill.

Either way, a ducktail is the way to go, whether its CDC or SS. You can't go wrong with either.

Just my .02.

MustangDaren : Watch them stop bumpers or curbs with that low chin spoiler it'll hurt the first time you scarpe it , I can still hear me swearing.

Clean ride! Love that blue, maybe a ducktail and black our panel? I'm sure you will find the perfect match.

For your car, I would go with the gt500 spoiler or a ducktail; but it really depends on the look you are personally looking for. If you are going for a more streamline look, I would definately get the gt500 spoiler. If you are going for an 'old school' classic look, get the ducktail. IMO, I think the gt500 spoiler would match your wheels and the cdc spoiler than the ducktail would.

Looks great!

I just ordered / installed my cdc classic chin from Atlantamustang and the paint wasn't perfect, it was like 95% perfect; I'm probably the only one who can notice but the spoiler is a bit lighter white than the rest of the car. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
