Looks good I rember when I did that to my '05 v6 was a little nervous as well Any plans for a ducktail spoiler? Also do you have the GT mufflers already? I had them for awhile they sound pretty good eventually switched to the GT american thunder flowmaster kit, sounded sweet on the 6.

thanks! cool advice. yeah, i already have the gt mufflers and h pipe and i got them for really cheap. I still want some nice looking tips like the ones that come on the 07 gt or the 01 bullitt but im not sure where to find them. im going to leave the spoiler deleted, i love it like that. i got cdc quarter window louvers sitting in my friends warehouse ready for paint. im going for a bullitt kind of look. so after those mods, shes all finished in the appearence dept. possibly a chin spoiler. friends are trying to convince me to get silver lemans stripes. i dont know about that though....

ps. yours looks really clean, good work!

I think a chin spoiler would look awesome..Fronts aren't aggressive enough w/out them IMO

I agree!

I think I would keep it black but thats my opinion.. I'm not a huge fan of lemans stripes but if I did them on a black car silver would be my first choice. The cdc 1/4 louvers will look great I'm sure... also thanks for the compliments it might be finished by summer

Wow dude, you need to chill. nickpurcell, your mods look good! Keep sharing with us. Ignore this assmunch and his attitude. (unless he is your friend, and if so, you may need a better class of friend)

ha ha, didnt think my smart-*** comment would get so much attention, yes I am his friend, and I spent the last week and a half getting him this deal on all the parts, and spent five hours with him and his brother switching out his old bumpers with his new ones. SO, no I am not an assmunch, just a prankster.

The bumper treatment is a big improvement on the V-6 Pony.I have always heard some negative comments about the change out but its an easy mod and really no different than someone upgrading to Roush,Saleen or Shelby facia. Its all good.Keep us posted on your exhuast mod.

Did you order it prepainted or have to get it painted to match your car??? If so how close is the paint match???

I'm thinking of doing a GT/CS front clip conversion on mine that's why I'm asking.

The bumper covers came painted, they are straight from a black(ua) 06 gt so it matches perfect. got a pretty good price from 'blow by racing'. they are cool guys over there in boca, FL.

I just got done doing the exact thing you are doing, only my bumper was free. I got in a wreck so the other ladies insurance psid for my GT bumper. Last Sunday I then added Magnaflow catback exhaust system in a couple of hours. This weekend I'm putting on my 3dCarbon 3d500 Shelby spoiler and striping. Hellatight. I love the look

If you are using the stock GT mufflers, the chrome rolled dual tip extentions are a regular Ford accessory and you can get them from the parts department or any online retailer of Ford parts. They just clamp on but look very tastefull(even on a new car the dealer has to bolt them on).
