I don't want to spend a bunch of money, I really don't but then I keep finding my self browsing for wheels..

darn YOU EBAY!!

Im still resisting but I suspect that sometime in the next 6 months my resolve will fail.

I feel sorry for my savings account, It wont know what hit it.

I like those, if only the stock wheels were chrome, I wouldn't need aftermarket wheels!

I don't think Cragar wheels belong on a Mustang... those are Chevy/Mopar wheels. Just get some Bullitts. You can get some chrome 18x9 bullitts for about the same price.

I think those are sharp. Didn't know they still made them. They are a classic, IMO they would look good classic wheels for a classic car.

I think Cragars would be nice. My old '69 I had them on it.
Here is a chop someone did a while back of an '05 with them on it.
In this chop, they look like 15's though. If they were 17" or 18", it would look better.

Pull the trigger Klous, I think they would look kick hiney on Sonic Blue.
Remember the old keystones. I wonder what a set of 18's would like like on a stang. I had them on my 76 Torino, they were sharp

I remember those, I had Crager SS on 60 series tires on my 79 Pinto. Thought I was really something.

No offense but "Are You Nuts". Thats what we put on our Mustangs back during the muscle car era. They are perfect for the '05.

Go for it!!! My Dad's '65 coupe had Cragars and it looked great. If you get them and they look good it might push me into getting a set.

Looks nice, maybe you want to check out American Racing too?

They have some nice retro design, and Discount Tire will give you a trade in for your stock wheels/tires. They gave me $400 for my stock tires/wheels...

Maybe I'm nuts, but I've only seen Cragars on Camaros and Chargers. Never seen any on a Mustang. Not that there aren't some out there... just never seen them.

Back in the day Cragar S/S were a kool wheel for any vehicle. I think the orginal would be a very good choice. These appear to be a knock off. As are the Cobra wheels on their site. The last time I checked Cragar did not make an 18 X 9. Just my
$.02 here.

Im not able to find Crager's website now, but Im sure I saw they were offered in 18x9 also the centercaps say "Crager" on them unlike other knockoff wheels.

I would love to get some wheels and tires, and I will do it. The temptation is to buy them now, and although I have the money I don't want to spend it, when I have twice as much as I do now in savings I will consider it.

Wheel and Tires I totaled to be $1,618

For the rubber was thinking
BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW-2
255/45-18 up front
285/40-18 out back.
