I Painted My Mufflers
Finished detailing my car & I just was not happy with seeing those big mufflers on the sides & especially out back because the rear sits high & the valance doesn't cover then enough.
Got a can of flat black heat paint & painted the mufflers. IMO the back of the car looks so much better as do the stock tail pipes.
Will try to post pics next week, camera out of town.

I was planning on doing that as well but now looks like I am going to replace the exhaust system with the magnapak's. The are tucked up a bit so you don't see them from behind.

I think I'm going to leave my mufflers the color they come.....but alot of that has to do with the fact that my car is Satin Silver.
I think the rear valance on the GT hides a little more of the underneath than does the V-6 valance also.....

I did 4 light coats each muffler. About 1/2 the can.

My car is Torch Red. So the mufflers really stood out in their silver color.
I may also go for after market units, but until then I feel this is the quickest, easiest & cheapest mod you can do to improve the rear looks of the car.
