Ok guys,

I need some help here. I have temporarly added some stripes on one side of the car. What do you think? My wife says no. I am undecided.

It's not bad, but I think I agree with your wife. The body of the car defines the line nicely without enhancement.

 

Now thats wierd. Thats exactly what my wife said in a few words. :scratch:

 

I'm with your wife... but just my opinion. Hey if you like it that's all that matters.

 

It looks like crap.

 

I think I'm gonna have to agree with your wife too, sorry. It kinda overdefines the hockey stick/scoop area to me. Just my opinion. I'll give ya an A for effort though!

Enough said. I agree with you and the stripe is fixing to come off as we speek. Man, I hate it when my wife is right :bang: . lol. I really appreciate your input. I thought that something was missing but putting it I have to agree with you. It just dont look right. Again, thanks for your input.

What I think is interesting is how some people give constructive criticism, and others are pretty down right blunt, without any reasoning behind it.

From far away, not bad... up close, gut reaction was, "nah... " You should listen to your wife more often about aesthetics, some would say that we have a better eye,

That's a good idea to take them off. Just a little to corny if you ask me. Good thought though. I see what you were going for. Just looks to cheap.

The stripe as is needs to be removed. However, if it was continued so that it was a complete c-stripe and doubled to mimic the pattern on the GT logo it might look good.

 

Not bad. Really makes the hockey stick stick out.

 

I think it accentuates the fact that we have hockey sticks on the side of our cars instead of the "C" that is supposed to be there. However, if you take the tape off that you put on, it still resembles the "C" scoop.

 

I kind of like it. Something different.

Thanks for the pics....a while ago before deciding on mine I was wondering what the '68 C-style stripe would look like on our cars (reversed of course with the longer end on top). As most have said.....no!

 

A moustache on the Mona Lisa comes to mind. Good idea to remove it...
