I think that it looks great ! Nice work. How did you apply it ? I noticed that you did not hit the exhuast, or heat shields - did you remove any parts to make it easier to paint ? Did you have to prep the surfaces ? Wow ... how long did it take you ? Thanks for taking the pics and sharing your hard work

I just ordered from por-15 www.por15.com. You can get a catalog and do everything from new wheels, old wheels, and the underneath. My car is in the shop getting striped and the shop guy said that parts already had some rust and it's never even seen rain since I got it. Just sitting in the garage and some areas are rusting already. Por-15 is a rust inhibitor/destroyer and they also have a chassis coat (gloss and semi-gloss). I intend to put it on the first decent weekend we get here in Ohio (whenever that may be). It will take some time but I think it's an investment that will be wort it. The "Mix-pack" is 38.95 and has 3 cans of por-15 and 3 cans of the chassis black cote.

haven't used their products before but I have talked to a guy with a 2001 cobra that did it and he said you could still eat off the frame area today. Since he is meticilous? on what he does, I would totally believe him.

You can buy chassis black in a spray bomb at www.eastwood.com.

1. Go to the grocery store, or Smart& Final, warehouse club, etc and buy a box of food handlers gloves (the kind that don't fit tight, so you can change often)
2. Also at the store buy some Tea Tree Oil. Mix this in with your soap or shampoo to clean off any POR15 you get on you. DO NOT let it dry on you.
3. Use small foam brushes like you can find at craft stores
4. Make sure you do not get a lot on the brush and lightly drag across the surface. The light streaks wil go away when it dries.
5. Make sure to top coat with Chassis coat. The POR15 is tough but will get broken down if constantly beat on (as it would under a car)
